Blox Breaker, developed by Bytecove Software ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Information Stored Locally
- Game Progress: Your level progress, world completion, coins, gems, power-up inventory, daily challenge streaks, and high scores are stored locally on your device.
- Preferences: Equipped ball skins, glow effects, trail effects, hit effects, and other customization selections are stored locally on your device.
- Shop Purchases: Records of in-game items you have purchased with coins and gems are stored locally on your device.
Information Collected Automatically
- Subscription Status: We verify your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit framework to determine Premium access. This is handled entirely by Apple.
- Game Center Data: If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple may collect and process leaderboard scores and achievement progress. This is managed by Apple's GameKit framework.
Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising
For non-Premium users, Blox Breaker displays ads through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect the following types of data:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (such as IDFA, if you have granted tracking permission)
- Usage Data: Ad interaction data, including impressions, clicks, and ad engagement metrics
- IP Address: Used for approximate location-based ad targeting and fraud prevention
- Advertising Data: Information used to serve, personalize, and measure the effectiveness of advertisements
Premium users are not shown any ads, and no advertising data is collected for Premium users.
Tracking Transparency
Before any tracking occurs, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can choose to allow or deny tracking. If you deny tracking, ads will still be shown but they will not be personalized. You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Tracking.
How We Use Your Information
- To save your game progress so you can continue where you left off
- To track your in-game currency (coins and gems) and purchased items
- To manage your equipped customization items (ball skins, glow effects, trails, etc.)
- To verify your Premium subscription status through Apple StoreKit
- To grant Premium benefits such as power-up starter packs, 2x earnings, and access to premium worlds
- To display advertisements to non-Premium users through Google AdMob
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Data Storage and Security
- All game data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and local file storage)
- Leaderboard scores and achievements are transmitted to Apple's Game Center servers when you are signed in to Game Center
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is transmitted to Google's servers and is subject to Google's data retention and security policies
- We do not maintain our own servers or databases that store your personal information
Data Retention
- Your game data persists on your device until you delete the app
- Deleting the Blox Breaker app will permanently remove all locally stored game data
- Subscription status is managed by Apple and persists independently of the app
- Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's data retention policies
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app
- Manage your subscription through your Apple ID account settings
- Control ad tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, or by visiting Settings > Privacy & Tracking on your device
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings
- Request information about what data we process
Children's Privacy
Blox Breaker is not directed at children under 13. The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob, which may collect data as described in this policy. In-app purchases require Apple ID authentication, which is managed by Apple and subject to parental controls. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
