Welcome to Caption AI! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Caption AI mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Bytecove Software ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Caption AI is an AI-powered mobile application that generates social media captions for your photos. The App uses artificial intelligence to analyze images and create relevant, engaging captions for various social media platforms.
2. Account Registration
- You must sign in using Sign in with Apple to use the App
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this App

Free Tier
- 3 lifetime caption generations

- Single platform generation
Plus Subscription ($4.99/month or $49.99/year)
- Unlimited caption generations
- Access to all caption styles
- Single platform generation
Pro Subscription ($14.99/month or $149.99/year)
- Unlimited caption generations
- Access to all caption styles
- Custom tone selection
- Multi-platform generation
- Advanced AI model for better captions
Important Subscription Information:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Upload images that contain illegal content, explicit material, or violate others' rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
- Share your account or subscription with others
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
5. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Bytecove Software and protected by intellectual property laws
- You retain ownership of photos you upload
- Captions generated by the App are provided for your personal use on social media platforms
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Generated captions will be suitable for all purposes
- The AI will always produce accurate or appropriate content
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BYTECOVE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Apple's Terms
This App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the App.
