Welcome to WordBrew! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WordBrew mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Bytecove Software ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

WordBrew is a word puzzle game that allows you to:

• Play through 250 levels across 10 themed chapters
• Form words by connecting letters on a circular wheel
• Complete crossword grids to earn stars and tea leaves
• Customize your experience with tile themes, trail effects, wheel skins, completion animations, tea cups, font styles, and sound packs
• Use power-ups (Auto Solve, Time Freeze, Letter Reveal) to assist gameplay
• Complete daily brew challenges for bonus rewards
• Sign in with Apple to sync progress across devices

2. Eligibility

• WordBrew is available to users of all ages
• In-app purchases require Apple ID authentication and are subject to Apple's parental controls
• Parents or guardians are responsible for any in-app purchases made by minors

3. In-Game Currency and Purchases

Tea Leaves (Virtual Currency)

• WordBrew uses Tea Leaves as its in-game currency
• Tea leaves are earned through gameplay (completing levels, bonus words, daily rewards) and can also be purchased
• Tea leaves can be used to purchase cosmetic items, power-ups, and hints in the in-game shop
• Virtual currencies have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded

Piggy Bank

• The Piggy Bank automatically accumulates 10% of all tea leaves you earn during gameplay
• When the Piggy Bank reaches 500 tea leaves, you may "break" it for $0.99 to collect the saved tea leaves
• After breaking, the Piggy Bank resets and begins accumulating again

4. In-App Purchases

WordBrew offers the following one-time and consumable purchases (no subscriptions):

One-Time Purchases

• Remove Ads: $2.99 — permanently removes all interstitial advertisements
• Premium Chapters (6–10): $1.99 each or $4.99 for all five
• Starter Pack: 100 tea leaves + 10 hints + Watercolor theme

Consumable Purchases

• Tea Leaf Packs: 200 or 500 tea leaves
• Hint Packs: 10 or 50 hints
• Piggy Bank: $0.99 to break and collect accumulated tea leaves

5. Cloud Sync and Account

• Sign in with Apple is optional and not required to play
• If you sign in, your progress is synced to your private iCloud container
• You may delete your cloud data at any time through the "Delete Account" option in Settings
• Deleting your account removes cloud data but preserves local progress on your device

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized tools to gain advantages
• Manipulate or exploit bugs to gain in-game currency or items

7. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, graphics, animations, sound effects, and all content, is owned by Bytecove Software and protected by intellectual property laws
• All chapter themes, level designs, cosmetic artwork, and tea cup illustrations are proprietary
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the practices described therein.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Game progress will never be lost (we recommend using cloud sync)
• All features will be available at all times
• The App will be compatible with all devices or iOS versions

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BYTECOVE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF GAME PROGRESS, VIRTUAL CURRENCY, OR IN-APP PURCHASES.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.

13. Apple's Terms

This App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
