Welcome to PlateFlow! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlateFlow mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Bytecove Software ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
PlateFlow is an AI-powered meal planning application that helps you:
- Generate personalized meal plans based on your dietary preferences
- Create smart grocery lists from your meal plans
- Track your daily nutrition intake
- Scan food barcodes for nutrition information
- Save and organize your favorite recipes
2. Account Registration
- You must sign in using Sign in with Apple to use the App
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this App
- You agree to provide accurate information about your dietary needs and health conditions
3. Subscription Plans
Free Tier
- 1 AI meal plan generation per month
- Basic nutrition tracking
- Grocery list generation
- Recipe viewing
Premium Subscription ($9.99/month or $99.99/year)
- Up to 30 AI meal plan generations per month
- Full nutrition tracking with detailed analytics
- Barcode scanner for food logging
- Meal regeneration (swap individual meals)
- PDF export and sharing
- Save unlimited favorite recipes
- Priority support
Important Subscription Information:
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
4. Health Disclaimer
Important Health Notice:
PlateFlow is designed for general wellness and meal planning purposes only. The App is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet
- If you have a medical condition (diabetes, heart disease, eating disorder, etc.), consult your doctor before using this App
- AI-generated meal plans are suggestions only and may not account for all individual health factors
- Nutrition information may not be 100% accurate and should be verified for critical dietary needs
- We are not responsible for any health issues arising from following AI-generated meal plans
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Share your account or subscription with others
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Abuse the AI meal generation service (e.g., generating plans for commercial resale)
- Circumvent subscription or usage limits
6. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Bytecove Software and protected by intellectual property laws
- AI-generated meal plans and recipes are provided for your personal use only
- You may not commercially redistribute generated content without permission
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- AI-generated meal plans will meet all your nutritional needs
- Nutrition calculations will be 100% accurate
- Barcode scanner will recognize all products
- The service will be available at all times
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BYTECOVE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RELATED TO HEALTH OUTCOMES FROM FOLLOWING MEAL PLANS.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Apple's Terms
This App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
