AI Services · Chattanooga, TN

The parts of your business that still run on memory and a shared spreadsheet.

Bytecove builds practical AI integrations, dashboards, and workflow automation for small businesses around Chattanooga. Not demos. Not decks. Working tools that plug into the systems your team already uses.

Most small businesses don't need another subscription. They need the quote that took forty minutes to take three, the report everyone actually trusts, and the Tuesday morning where nothing fell through the cracks over the weekend.

Our working definition of “AI that's worth it.”

01 What AI Can Actually Do For You

Not magic. Better than the group text.

Most of what we build looks boring on a slide. It's the boring parts that return hours back to your week. Here are the kinds of problems we take on — and what the “after” looks like once it's running.

A

The inbox that everyone forwards to. Customer emails, bid requests, vendor questions — all landing in one place, sorted by nobody. Emails are read, tagged, and routed to the right person. Urgent ones bubble up. Quotes get a draft reply within an hour.

B

The spreadsheet nobody trusts. Three people edit it, two people never open it, and nobody is sure which tab is current. One dashboard. One source of truth. Fields that can't be typed wrong.

C

The report that takes half a day. Someone exports to CSV, pastes into a template, fixes the numbers, emails it out — every Monday. The report writes itself and lands in your inbox at 7am. Numbers tie because they're pulled straight from the system.

D

The quote that takes forty minutes. Look up the customer. Pull last year's numbers. Crosswalk the part list against a PDF catalog. Hope you didn't miss a line item. A form, a few dropdowns, a PDF out the other side. Priced from live data. Three minutes.

E

The call you only knew about when the customer got mad. No record of who said what, no paper trail, no follow-up reminder. Every call summarized, searchable, and tied to the job. Follow-ups set automatically.

02 Services

Four ways we show up.

Every engagement is different, but most land inside one of these four buckets. We'll tell you straight whether what you need is one of them — or whether you're better off buying something off the shelf.

i.
AI Integrations

Language models, wired into the systems you already use.

Classify incoming tickets, draft customer replies, extract line items from vendor PDFs, summarize long voicemails, generate first-draft proposals. We use models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and open-weights providers depending on what the job needs — and where your data can live.

Often touches
  • Gmail / Outlook
  • QuickBooks, Xero
  • Google Drive, Dropbox
  • Your existing CRM
  • Slack, Teams
ii.
AI Dashboards

A single screen your team will actually look at.

Live numbers pulled from the places they live — not copy-pasted from six tabs. Ask the dashboard a question in plain English and get back a number and a chart. Built to match your vocabulary, not a SaaS vendor's.

Looks like
  • Daily operations board
  • Sales pipeline & win rate
  • Labor & job margins
  • Inventory & reorder alerts
  • Customer health view
iii.
Company Analytics

Know why last month happened — before next month happens.

The numbers are in your systems already; they're just locked behind exports and pivot tables nobody has time for. We pull them out, connect them, and set up the questions you'd actually ask if you could. Week-over-week trends. Outliers. Customers quietly drifting.

Answers questions like
  • Which jobs lost money?
  • Why did Tuesday's labor spike?
  • Who hasn't ordered in 90 days?
  • What is our real cost per lead?
iv.
Workflow Automation

The hand-off that used to rely on someone remembering.

When a job is marked complete, the invoice drafts itself, the customer gets a thank-you note, the tech gets their next assignment, and the books close a day earlier. Custom flows in software that already exists, or a small internal tool when nothing fits.

Shows up as
  • Zapier / Make on steroids
  • Custom internal tools
  • Scheduled jobs & alerts
  • Document pipelines
  • Form-to-system routing
03 How an Engagement Runs

Four steps, no surprises.

A first project usually lands between two and six weeks. Fixed price, tied to a specific outcome. If the project is too ambitious for that, we'll scope a phase one and be up front about it.

Step 01
Walk the shop.
We come on-site (coffee works too) and watch how work actually moves — what gets typed twice, what gets called about, what falls through. Ninety minutes, no deck.
~ 1 week
Step 02
Scope & quote.
We write up what we'd build, what it touches, what it won't do, and a fixed price. If something isn't worth building, we say so — and suggest the off-the-shelf tool that fits instead.
~ 3–5 days
Step 03
Build in the open.
We build in short cycles. You see working screens every week, not a demo at the end. Course corrections happen while they're still cheap.
~ 2–5 weeks
Step 04
Hand over & stay close.
Training for the people who'll use it. Documentation they'll actually read. A direct line to us for the first month, and a simple support arrangement after that.
Ongoing
04 Why Local Matters

Built here. Accountable here.

There's no shortage of companies selling “AI transformation” from a different time zone. We're choosing a smaller radius on purpose: Chattanooga and the towns within an hour of it. Cleveland. Dayton. Dunlap. Fort Oglethorpe. Jasper. If it matters to meet in person, we can be there by 10am.

01 ·

We'll show up on-site. For a small business, watching work happen for a morning beats any amount of Zoom discovery.

02 ·

We know the industries here. Logistics, trades, small manufacturing, clinics, professional services. The work looks different than it does in a coastal city.

03 ·

You get a name, not a ticket number. The person quoting the project is the person building it and the person you call at 4pm on a Thursday.

04 ·

Your data stays in your accounts. We build inside tools you own. Nothing gets shipped off to a platform we control.

05 Questions We Get

Straight answers, no pitch deck.

What kinds of small businesses do you work with?

Service trades, small manufacturers, clinics, logistics and dispatch operations, accounting and professional service firms, and local retailers. If your team tracks work, quotes, clients, or inventory — and the tracking is scattered across spreadsheets, email, and memory — we can probably help.

Is “AI” just ChatGPT with extra steps?

No. We use large language models where they fit — reading messy documents, drafting responses, classifying free-text fields — and we use regular software engineering for everything else. Most of the value comes from the parts that aren't AI: clean data, a real dashboard, a form that writes to the right system.

Do you work with businesses outside of Chattanooga?

Yes, but local is the focus. We prioritize engagements within about an hour of Chattanooga — Cleveland, Dayton, Dunlap, Fort Oglethorpe, Jasper, Ringgold — so we can meet in person when it matters.

How do engagements usually start?

A short conversation, usually on-site or over coffee. We look at the work that eats the most time, the reports nobody trusts, and the hand-offs where things fall through. If there's a fit, we scope a first project — typically 2 to 6 weeks — with a fixed price and a working result at the end.

Is my data safe?

Your data stays in your systems. We build integrations that run inside accounts you own and control. When we use AI models, we use providers with no-training terms on business data, and we avoid sending sensitive information to models at all when it isn't necessary.

What does this cost?

Most first projects land between $4,000 and $18,000 depending on scope. We quote fixed prices tied to specific outcomes rather than hourly retainers, and we're up front when something isn't worth building.

We already have a software vendor. Can you work alongside them?

Usually, yes. Most small businesses already have a CRM, accounting system, or field service tool. We build the connective tissue around what you have — not a replacement.
